Legends PR and Communications agency has created a dozen documentaries for Asharq Business with Bloomberg showing high-profile individuals discussing details of their day-to-day work. Some of the footage involved Saudi Vision 2030 projects (the country’s roadmap for the future) in the new-age city of Neom, the historical sites of AlUla, the Red Sea island of Umluj, and the cities of Jeddah, Buraydah, Dammam and Riyadh.

Laura Alho, the global media relations lead at the Royal Commission for AlUla, who moved to Saudi Arabia with her family, recounted how fascinated she was at the progress the Kingdom was making, particularly in the tourism sector. She is also a social media influencer and portrays AlUla’s historical and cultural sites in her blog, Blue Abaya.

Fumio Iwai, Japan’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia since the start of 2021, praised the developments the Saudi community was making by opening up to foreigners. He added that he aimed to find cultural connections between the Saudi and Japanese communities.

Wayne Borg, the managing director for media, entertainment, culture, and fashion at Neom, emphasised that the creation of the futuristic city was a hugely ambitious project. He said that he enjoyed Neom’s lifestyle; although the city was new, he never felt he was missing anything. He drew attention to Neom’s potential to attract filmmakers.

The documentaries are the largest visual production project Legends has conducted since it was established in Riyadh in late 2019. It was chosen to make the films because of its skills in content creation, dubbing, editing, and art direction. The agency provides film equipment and a professional team as well as promoting its work on social media platforms such as YouTube and Twitter.
