Legends PR and Communications agency ran a July campaign to raise awareness of the efforts made by a government agency to reunite those undertaking the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca with their lost property. The General Commission for the Guardianship of Trust Funds for Minors and their Counterparts, which is one of the main bodies involved in the annual pilgrimage, developed strategies to deliver lost property – including money, gold, jewelry and luggage – to their owners.

Lost property received by the commission was kept until it could be delivered to the pilgrims who had lost it. This year, an estimated million pilgrims performed the sacred rites of Hajj, which every Muslim who has the means is expected to do at least once in their lifetime.

Legends used social media platforms to show the commission’s success in dealing with a vast amount of lost property; tweets were posted on the Twitter accounts of Al Arabiya and Asharq News.
